A Healthier Old Age in the Place You Live!
Since March 27 of this year, the "Suseong-pum-ane" (Within the Suseong Embrace) integrated care system has been in effect in Suseong-gu.
This customized care service allows seniors aged 65 and older who require assistance to receive medical, nursing, and daily life support collectively while staying comfortably in their own homes, rather than moving to nursing homes or hospitals.

MOU for Building a Medical, Nursing, and Care Network
In line with this movement toward integrated care, the Suseong-gu Korean Medicine Association (Hanyisahoe, 韓醫師會) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with all 7 Home-based Elderly Care Centers in Suseong-gu that are responsible for the government-supported "Customized Elderly Care Service."
This agreement is highly significant as it marks the first step of the "Suseong-gu Model for Elderly Care." It aims to preemptively support and manage vulnerable seniors who are at a crossroads regarding nursing home admission or long-term care grading. The Korean Medicine Association will actively participate to ensure that local seniors receive better medical benefits and care.
